Microsoft releases updates every month for your Windows computers. However, it’s not clear when each update was installed. If you recently updated Windows and find out that your computer is not behaving normally, you can review the recent updates and remove the problem files that are causing your machine not to work. To get started with reviewing Windows updates, follow the steps below:
Windows Settings
The quickest way to get to the Windows settings pane is by clicking the small gear icon in the “Start” menu or by pressing Windows + I on your keyboard. In the Settings pane, click Update & Security. Next, select Windows Update from the sidebar, then click View update history. On the View update history page, you’ll see lists of installed updates sorted by category. Category details:
Feature Updates: New versions of Windows 10 Quality Updates: Major updates to the Windows 10 Driver Updates: Drivers updates for your machines Definition Updates: Microsoft Defender anti-malware definitions updates. Other Updates: Miscellaneous updates
To expand each category, click on it.
Control Panel
You can also view recent updates by going to the Windows control panel. To get to the Windows control panel, click Start and search for Control Panel. Then navigate to Programs > Programs and Features and click “View installed updates.” That should bring up a list of installed updates. You can quickly reach any of the updates and uninstall from there. That should do it! Conclusion: This post showed you how to view Window’s most recent updates and how to install any of them.
